HEALTH CHECK FOR ALL PALILULA CITIZENS

Health Center of Nis and Palilula Municipality have organized another Bazaar of Heath on the plateau of NKC. Citizens could check their health condition with measuring blood pressure, sugar level in blood, body weight and height. During this year Health Bazaar in Palilula Municipality, team of Health Center provided hundred free medical services with the aim of this project -promotion of good primary health protection for all the citizens.

About the significance of these activities for the citizens of the municipality in the cooperation with health institutions specially Health Center spoke Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality. He emphasized that during these activities with the action `Let us get close to the patients`, by which was taken into account the people living in 12 villages of Palilula, in March and during April, Service for health protection of adults of the Health Center of Nis has medically examined more than 700 people. Starting activity pointed at the need for additional inclusion of medical teams so that the medical check of the patients in households could be successfully done. Spread dynamics of medical examination and visiting patients in their homes was made up and it was based on rural areas of Palilula. It was during working days and on Sundays. With this action, specially were taken into account the old, less movable and not movable patients, emphasized president of the Municipality Boban Dzunic.

The aim of this year Bazaar of Health is increasing of consciousness and care on preserving health of the people emphasized Docent Doctor Milorad Jerkan, director of Health Center in Nis. Free preventive health checks in Nis settlements without health center - station will continue during the next months. Promotion of health life style and stimuli to citizens to take care of their health, support to release of bad habits as well as education on importance of preventive health checks will be priority in their work.

The action of health check, significantly influenced the change of bad life habits of people from Nis. Health center organizes Bazaars of Health many times a year. This became good practice with which we will continue emphasized the hosts and organizers of Health Bazaar in Palilula Municipality.
